Mission: My special mission here at FurryKids.net, a holistic consultation and resource center for canines and kitties, is to help you learn how to give your beloved four-legged companion a healthy life, naturally. So if you want to know the holistic options you may have (and those you should avoid) then you've come to the right place indeed.
For nearly two decades, I have been compiling vital resources, (including lesser-known, powerful life-enhancing "tools") to assist those of you who have perhaps tried endless conventional veterinary protocols, and those of you who want to give your new puppy or kitten the best in natural rearing right from the start. Those of you who have been already caring for your animal companions using holistic methods know all too well there is always more to learn. Consultations: My consultations are designed to short-cut your "natural rearing" learning curve or to build upon what you may already know. My hope is to help you avoid the frustration and grief that I and countless others have experienced: vet visits that range from fruitless to damaging and costly in time and money. My dogs (and consequently, I) lost a great deal by accepting long-ranged protocols that ran to counter to nature's ways. I now understand that the body innately knows how to regain and maintain balance, but at times needs some help to get back on track. I teach my clients what I have learned about "nurturing nature", including: the value and how-to's of feeding a raw diet ("The Rabbit Does Not Show Up at 6 O'Clock"); veterinary referrals; complementary and non-drug modalities that normalize, support, and nourish your animal companions, and offer holistic health provider referrals and ever-expanding holistic health resources.
Support: There is a unique, perhaps even rare, benefit: the scope of my customer service. My commitment to you not only encompasses quality information and products, it extends beyond that to supporting you through your particular learning process with your animal and human family members. It is a crucial part of my business to be available to you with ongoing assistance.
In keeping with my desire to be of service and to make this information available to as many as possible, I have chosen to provide consultations on the basis of the Native American Sacred Traditions called the Give-Away and the Offering rather than utilizing the conventional practice of set fees.
